Best Western Melbourne City

I choose Best Western because of it's location to Marvel Stadium (comfortable walking distance) and Southern Cross Station. P!nk was awesome BTW. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception area was small but had couches and was clean and tidy. The entrance was well signposted as were the signs to the rooms. The room was exactly like it's photos on the website and was clean and tidy. The bathroom was small but compact and clean. They have luggage storage which is great if you want to walk around the city to have lunch and shop after you have check out.

I was in Melbourne for a week long conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, which is a 5 minute walk from this hotel. Best Western Melbourne City was an excellent accommodation choice. The room was clean and had all advertised amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. I felt the price was appropriate and made for a good trip. The surrounding area is safe, clean, and just a few minutes walk from both the tram stop and also Southern Cross station, with direct connections to regional Victoria by train and the airport by SkyBus. I would stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location at the beginning of the Central Business District with all the delicious Asian restaurants, China Town, and skyscrapers. Next to the hotel is the Southern Cross Station, from where you can reach many sightseeing areas, e.g., Werribee Park. Within the Central Business District, you can take the Tram for free. Two tram stations are nearby the hotel. Furthermore, around the corner, the beautiful river tingles throughout the city. On the other side of the river is the botanical garden, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and more to see. My room was on the ground floor having an outside area where I could sit. The room itself was not that large but offered anything I required. The bathroom was spacious enough, having also a large shower and the bed was comfortable. When arriving at the hotel, I had problems paying the hotel with the credit card due to reached limits of upfront tavels. The staff was very welcoming and allowed me to pay a part directly to stay below the limit and the remaining fee on the next day after my limit was extended.

Their friendly staff responded to my question before I went to Mel at the right time, it was really helpful that I found the easy way out from the airport, to my first trip in Mel even without the Internet. It’s at great location in Melbourne. The bedroom fits me with big suitcases 🧳to open is a great size room, also I like the bed have bigger space for my arms out of mattress. It’s a cosy bathroom, but after a hot shower can quickly jump to bed. It’s a great deal for my 7 night.

The staff were SUPER approachable, friendly and considerate! The location was great! Lots of eateries close by. I didnt travel with a car- public transport options are plenty and convenient and most of the city attractions are within walking distance anyway. The appliances all worked. The room was as advertised. Housekeeping staff were very friendly too! Always smiling! Loved the abundance of space for luggage and literally everything else! Room was small but well planned and well thought out. The bed was VERY comfy! I came in when it was rainy and cold and the concierge who checked me in ( sorry Ive forgotten his name 😬)- brought me up an extra blanket and sorted out the heater for me within minutes of me getting there (thank you!)
